Happy New Year

On New Year’s Eve, I set off on a journey. Bathed in morning light, the sunlit golden mountains shimmer, snow peaks cloaked in gold, lighting up my heart as well. May every step in the new year walk in the light, with luck following like the mountain wind. 🚗 Car Selection Beijing · BJ 40 🎬 Video 📸 Some moments

SLAI Registration

Let me first say the conclusion: the college was very attentive during the reporting process, and the management and process were very good. I give a big thumbs up to the staff :) Registration Registration officially began at 8:30 AM on September 10th. Parking and a tea break area were set up. Family members accompanying students were asked to wait at the tea break area while students reported to the second floor.

SLAI Application

This passage is a personal record of my PhD application journey. It focuses on the basic requirements of the process and my reflections on participating in it. Application and Exam Preparation I received the application notice from the department and my supervisor at the end of February. Shortly after that, the Shenzhen Loop Area Institute (SLAI) gave a presentation on the first-year student application process. The talk covered the examination details, program benefits, and overall objectives.

Plans always change on the road. This time, we kept adjusting ours due to unexpected issues like traffic jams and road conditions, but it turned out that changing plans wasn’t a bad thing. 🚗 Car selection Tank 300 🧭 Self-driving map 👣Total mileage:About 2,000 kms 🎬 Videos Golden Sunset Clip-Vlog 📸 Some moments

An English corner is a great place for me to improve my English skills. I’ve participated in this activity for over half a year. It always helps me relax when I’m under pressure from academic research. Although each session just lasts for one hour, it’s worthy doing that. I’ve accumulated many words and expressions since then. Fortunately, I was invited to record a video and the topic is about winter holiday.

This post collects my thoughts and notes on studying abroad as I learn along the way. Feel free to add to it. Two sides of studying abroad Advantages Bilingual skills More personal time; potentially higher efficiency Exposure to diverse perspectives (cultural integration) More options and flexibility Drawbacks Loneliness Cultural differences Weaker domestic network Less familiarity with the domestic job market (e.g., missing on-campus recruiting) CSC Application On January 9, 2025, the China Scholarship Council issued the “2025 Guidelines for the Selection of National Scholarship Funded Overseas Students”

This post records information I learned during my study-abroad application process, for reference. For context, I’m currently a research-based master’s student in China. Language requirements Most top U.S. universities require IELTS ≥ 7.5, TOEFL ≥ 102, and GRE ≥ 319 for PhD applications (exact requirements vary by program and year). Studying in the United States I read a book about international students. In recent years, the computer industry has surpassed finance to become a popular industry.
