Language requirements
- Minimum: IELTS 6.5 (min. band 6.0)
- Competitive: IELTS 7.0 (min. band 6.5)
- Strong: IELTS 7.5 (min. band 7.0)
Timeline
Below is a rough timeline. Note that UK programs typically don’t require the GRE; IELTS is usually sufficient.
Material preparation
- Statement of Purpose
- Personal Statement (PS)
- Resume (CV)
- Letter of recommendation
- English transcripts of undergraduate and master’s degrees
- Language scores (TOEFL/IELTS & GRE/GMAT, etc.)
- Undergraduate degree certificate, graduation certificate
- Master’s degree certificate in Chinese and English
