Language requirements

  • Minimum: IELTS 6.5 (min. band 6.0)
  • Competitive: IELTS 7.0 (min. band 6.5)
  • Strong: IELTS 7.5 (min. band 7.0)
Timeline

Below is a rough timeline. Note that UK programs typically don’t require the GRE; IELTS is usually sufficient.

  • Letter of recommendation
  • English transcripts of undergraduate and master’s degrees
  • Language scores (TOEFL/IELTS & GRE/GMAT, etc.)

  • Master’s degree certificate in Chinese and English
